Job Description:
Amitech is seeking a Workflow Process Analyst responsible for the development, analysis, measurement, optimization, documentation and communication of workflows throughout the IT organization. The Workflow Process Analyst will implement systemic practice improvement by working with department heads to establish and enforce standards and methodologies resulting in increased productivity, waste reduction and cost savings. 

Primary Duties: 
  • Identifies IT workflow gaps and inefficiencies, defines scope of improvement projects and communicates business issues to engage senior management.
  • Analyzes, documents, and communicates business requirements and gap analysis with key business and technical leads to develop a total business solution.
  • Defines potential solutions, identifies success metrics, coordinates potential solution reviews, defines implementation project and provides ongoing feedback on selected solution’s implementation status and timeline.
  • Proposes recommendations to streamline and standardize IT tasks and methodologies, resulting in less complexity, training effort and elimination of duplication.
  • Creates and maintains mappings of current and future IT flowcharts.
  • Recommends priorities of IT projects and team activities to senior management, based on business priority and ROI metrics; communicates approved priorities and coordinates the project teams’ overall schedule.
  • Recommends areas of improvement on existing systems, and workflows in current business processes.
  • Maps complex IT structures including control points, key data and reporting elements, compliance metrics, process training documentation, and system interfaces.
  • Creates and maintains complex end-to-end business test case scenarios, verifying current workflows and transaction integrity while ensuring new requirements are tested thoroughly and reviewed for business impact.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure service levels are achieved and that issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
  • Other duties as required and assigned.


Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university or equivalent experience; Information Systems degree preferred.
  • Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience in process or project management within IT.
  • CSPE, PMP, Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
  • Proven track record in both solutioning and implementing IT workflow improvements.
  • Healthcare insurance experience is required.
