Job Description:
Amitech is seeking an Epic Caboodle ETL (SSIS) Developer. The Epic Caboodle ETL (SSIS) Developer is an emerging IT professional who reviews business requirements, designs updated ETL configuration or custom ETL jobs, implements technical changes and custom ETL code, validates code deployment, and guides production support teams in monitoring and troubleshooting. 

Responsibilities will include: 

Review business needs and requirements.  Design Epic implementation changes or custom SSIS code.  Develop, test, and validate configuration changes and ETL (SSIS) code.  Troubleshoot ETL code failures and provide fixes. Form productive relationships with customers and other technical teams by listening, clarifying, and responding effectively. Participate on project teams with both business users as well as IT developers. Develops documentation in a clear, concise manner, adhering to standards. 

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in information technology required.
  • Minimum of 3 years developing data warehouse ETL solutions with Microsoft SSIS.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Epic Clarity and preferably Epic Caboodle.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification: 
  • One or more Epic Clarity Certification preferred.
Knowledge and Experience: 
  • Experience with ETL tools: Microsoft SSIS required, Informatica or Talend preferred.
  • Experience installing and administering Epic Caboodle.
  • Experience installing and administering Epic Clarity is preferred.
  • Experience programming in SQL.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence development lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of designing and planning BI solutions.
  • Debugging, monitoring, and troubleshooting ETL solutions.
  • Writing relational and multidimensional database queries.
  • Experience with designing and specifying data warehouse data structures.
  • Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification and methodology development.
  • The ability to create systematic and consistent requirements specifications in both a technical and user-friendly language.
  • Able to exercise independent judgment and take action.
  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills. Excellent understanding of the organizations goals and objectives.
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure.
  • Strong customer service orientation. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
