Principal Activities or Accountabilities (Essential Functions of Job)
1. Responsible for creation of test plans for assigned system(s) based upon system standards.
2. Responsible for creation of test cases for the assigned system(s).
3. Responsible for executing test cases for the assigned system(s).
4. Responsible for researching and assisting with the resolution of assigned system data inconsistencies related to corporate systems and business practices.
5. Responsible for identifying those areas impacted by software releases and ensure that those areas are adequately involved in the testing and verification of the system software releases.
6. Responsible for status reporting on an ongoing basis to appropriate supervisory and management staff.
7. Responsible for logging test results necessary in meeting the project tracking needs of the division.
8. Responsible for meeting project timelines based upon project estimates and system needs defined by management.
9. Responsible for providing and/or assist in training for new procedures, system modifications and system releases.
10. Responsible for working with staff of business analysts, technical analysts, supervisors and managers, to communicate the need of information necessary to accurately test the assigned system(s).

Minimum Job Requirements:
  1. High School Graduate or equivalent.
  2. Meet one or both of the following:
  • College degree in business or computer related field from an accredited college or university
  • Five (5) years non-clerical experience with an insurance, healthcare or technology related organization.
2. Two years’ experience system testing or 6 months experience system testing with MarketWrite and TES systems.
3. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
4. Demonstrate proficient skills in Microsoft software applications and web-based applications, including Windows, Word, TFS and Excel.
5. Working knowledge of electronic application processing preferred
