Title: Business Development Executive – Account Management and Client Engagement
Job Description:
The Business Development Executive position is charged with identifying and selling consulting services to new clients as well as within existing accounts in the areas of healthcare information management, business analytics solutions, management consulting, and IM/BI assessment and implementation. The successful candidate will employ a client-first, consultative approach, and must have demonstrated experience in developing business and trusted advisor relationships at the senior level.    
              
This role requires an astute businessperson capable of identifying and capitalizing on not only expressed needs but also upcoming and/or unknown needs with a consultative sales approach.  This person will be able to grow into a leadership role in the sales and account management organization.  This role is based at our headquarters in St. Louis, MO.  It requires up to 25% travel.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Aggressively pursuing new business opportunities at existing and new clients in Amitech Solutions core competencies, including healthcare information management, business analytics, management consulting, business intelligence, and healthcare consulting
  • Effectively executing growth strategies and cross-selling opportunities to maximize impact and value of client relationships
  • Executing a process-driven prospecting, client engagement, and follow up sales methodology
  • Engaging in consultative and strategic selling and account management, earning the status of trusted advisor to clients
  • Managing all aspects of the strategic sales process, including RFP responses, developing and delivering presentations, and demonstrating a unique selling proposition to clients
  • Working closely with recruiting team to ensure client satisfaction with Amitech resources at all points in the hiring process
  • Acting as a primary point of contact and support, along with recruiting team, on all Amitech consultants billing at a client
 
Required Experience & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree with a preference for technical, business, or industry specific disciplines
  • 3-5+ years of experience in selling information management consulting, management consulting, or other complex business services
  • 3+​ years of experience in information management consulting preferred.   This includes business analytics, management consulting, IT projects, and change management consulting.
  • 3+ years of healthcare industry experience (either insurance / payor or hospital / provider) preferred. 
  • Experience working in an on-demand IT staffing environment preferred
  • Proven track record of consistently delivering YOY sales growth
  • History of executing growth strategies at existing clients and proficiency at adding new clients
  • Salesforce.com or other CRM tool experience
  • Strong senior-level communication, presentation, and relationship building skills
  • Excellent social, interpersonal skills, effective in all communication channels
