Amitech is seeking a Human Resources Associate to support our human resources department for our rapidly growing business.  We are looking for a dynamic, high energy and motivated associate who will serve core business functions in various capacities.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist in implementing various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel
  • Assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures
  • Assist in implementing department goals, objectives, and systems
  • Assist with employee onboarding tasks (e.g., verify employment eligibility, perform background and drug tests, file paper and documents into appropriate employee files)
  • Assist with time tracking
  • Assist in distributing, explaining, and maintaining employee benefits (e.g., health, dental, vision, welfare, 401k, HSA)
  • Provide employee support, e.g., perform customer service functions by answering employee
 requests and questions, maintaining expense files, assisting in payroll tasks and payroll support
  • Set calendars and schedules in Microsoft Outlook, schedules meetings and interviews as requested
  • Book hotels and flights
  • Assist in event planning and organization
  • Schedules conferences and meetings by reserving facilities as local restaurants or hotels
  • Make photocopies, fax documents and perform other clerical functions and duties as assigned
  • Type correspondence, reports, and other documents
  • Assist in retention of current employees through focused employee engagement and employee retention programs
  • Assist employees with their requests, questions, and moving, onboarding, and project logistics
  • Assist in filing and maintaining the documents for immigration processes of employees
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in HR or related field
  • Preferred Master’s Degree, or experience equivalent
  • Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Ability to quickly learn new tools and system
