Amitech is seeking a Financial Controller to run and optimize all financial operations of the company, provide timely financial insights, and drive financial growth.  We are looking for a dynamic, high energy, and motivated Financial Controller who will serve core business functions in various capacities.  The successful candidate will be both hands-on and strategic.

Job Responsibilities:
•    Oversee and support all core financial processes, including A/P, A/R, and payroll, ensuring clockwork operation
•     Prepare P&L reports, financial statements, income statements, and statements of cash flow
•     Handle budgets, expenses, reconciliation, cash flow management, and financial forecasting
•     Develop and report on key operational and financial metrics
•     Support decision-making with deep financial analysis, insights, and management reporting
•     Maintain all accounting records, the chart of accounts, and a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
•     Provide systems support and process improvement to streamline processes and provide better quality standards and reporting
•     Document and audit processes in finance and accounting, and make improvements to scale
•     Manage, integrate, and improve company financial systems
•     Handle and prepare for taxes
•     Provide financial deal approval and ongoing project P&L reporting against plan
•     Provide due diligence and research for any potential acquisitions
•     Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
•     Provide deep financial analysis, insights, and recommendations for company growth
Skills & Qualifications:
•     Master’s Degree in finance or related field or completion of advanced certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA)
•     Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering, science, or related technical field
•     7-10 years or more of finance experience with demonstrated success in driving growth and ROI
•     Advanced MS Office Suite skills, particularly Excel, programming or reporting/analytics tool experience is a plus
•     Systems and software experience, including ERP, CRM, payroll, accounting tools
•     Extensive experience in accounting, A/R, A/P, payroll processing

•     Love for numbers and data, and the ability to compute and present complex information to stakeholders
•     Process management and people management experience
•     Desire and ability to be both hands on and strategic
•     Highly adaptable, with reinvention potential to learn and perform new responsibilities
•     Highly flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously
